On Monday, June 24, George Brown College’s Centre for Hospitality & Culinary Arts hosts their annual wine symposium, a gathering dedicated to exploring the wine industry in today's economy that brings preeminent industry leaders, experts, connoisseurs, and wine-lovers together. Steven Spurrier, Chairman of the Decanter World Wine Awards, will set the tone with his keynote address. Master Sommeliers Élyse Lambert MS, Christopher Bates MS, John Szabo MS, Jennifer Huether MS, Bruce Wallner MS, and Pier-Alexis Soulière MS will lead guided tasting sessions and thought-provoking discussions.

This year's presenters, delivering insight into such topics as sustainability, digital innovation, and the evolving customer experience, will include George Soleas, President & CEO of the LCBO; Jake Lewis, Global Beverage Director of Momofuku Restaurants; Sandra Taylor, CEO of Sustainable Business International; and Simon Woolf, wine writer and author of the award-winning book Amber Revolution.
